The XL2 Plus incorporates the latest in technology advances in x-ray tube design providing greater sensitivity and speed of analysis – especially in light elements of Mg, Al, Si, which is critical for higher productivity in sorting Al Alloys. The advanced SDD (Silicon Drift Detector) detector technology with our ProGuard protection minimizes puncture risks from sharp objects such as alloy turnings. Our certified IP54 rating ensures uninterrupted operation even in the harshest environments, along with new features like hot-swap batteries, easy-to-use operator interfaces that provide even higher productivity.
INPUTS/OUTPUTS:
Data entry is via a touch-screen keyboard, user-programmable pick lists and optional Bluetooth barcode reader and GPS devices. Outputs are via the fixed angle, color, touch-screen display and via USB, Bluetooth devices such as printers and RS-232 serial communications.
