NRCan XRF Training Course

 

Our XRF Online Training Course will prepare you for safely handling XRF analyzers, emphasizing types of radiation, biological effects, and radiation detection. You will learn the fundamentals of utilizing an XRF analyzer to collect accurate data with an overview of common mistakes to avoid. The course will be coordinated with a primary point of contact, designated as the Course Administrator. The Course Administrator will ensure all applicants have the required application forms and prep materials and will also be responsible for scheduling the exam via. a single web camera within a zoom conference.

Upon completion of the Online NRCan XRF Training Course, an onsite Exam Administrator will administer a closed book exam remotely monitored by MFE Training personnel. The exam will include 30 multiple choice questions; you must have a score of 70% to pass the exam. You will receive your level 1 or 2 NRCan XRF Certification upon completion of this course.

All applicants will be responsible for reviewing the prep study booklet before the NRCan XRF Training Course.
